Black Redstart Practices Its Jumping Technique Around the Pond

Redstarts have become regular visitors to the garden at Le Fresnot but Black Redstarts, more commonly found in villages, are unusual at the cottage. One individual showed up at the pond this week, entertaining us with its athletic jumps as it foraged for insects around the water's edge.
